    Newmag Winter Fest 2025 to Host the Presentation of Avet Barseghyan's Book “My Mirror” (Trailer)

    In his first published collection, Avet Barseghyan offers heartfelt and unembellished reflections on life, love, and human relationships. The book brings together poems from different periods of his life, showcasing his artistic journey.

    Well-known as a lyricist for Armenian pop songs, Barseghyan has an extensive background in television, having worked with the country's leading media companies. However, it was only years later that he decided to publish his poetry. He first announced this decision a year ago at the Winter Festival, and now, one year later, Newmag will officially present his collection. 

    Following the book presentation, guests will enjoy a poetic performance, featuring readings of the author's works by renowned actors Nazeni Hovhannisyan, Hrachuhi Utmazyan, and Varsham Gevorgyan.

    The collection “My Mirror” was published with the support of Artur Vanetsyan.

    Admission to the event is free. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase the book at a special discount and receive a signed copy from the author.

    Armenian musician and television host

    Avet Vardgesi Barseghyan (Armenian: Ավետ Վարդգեսի Բարսեղյան, Armenian pronunciation:[ɑˈvɛtbɑɾsɛʁˈjɑn]) is an Armenian songwriter and TV host,[1][2] who hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Yerevan, Armenia, alongside Gohar Gasparyan.[3]

    Barseghyan has also written several of Armenia's entries for both the Eurovision Song Contest and the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, as well as being the country's commentator since 2015. He hosted the third season of the Armenian edition of The X Factor.
